The pesto sauce is one of the most typical sauces of Italian gastronomy and is ideal to accompany any pasta dish. - 1 sprig of fresh basil (approximately 50 grams)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 4 tablespoons pine nuts
- 1/2 glass of olive oil
- 100 gr of parmesan cheese
- 25 gr of sheep’s milk cheese
- Salt and pepper
The first thing you have to do is grate the Parmesan cheese and the sheep’s milk cheese.
Next, you have to crush the basil bouquet, the peeled garlic, and the pine nuts until you get a creamy paste.
When you get the creamy pasta, you must add salt and pepper and crush it all together.
Then you must add a part of olive oil and mix it well with the mixer, this is the base of the pesto sauce.
When you have the different ingredients well mixed, you have to add the rest of the oil little by little while continuing to beat, so that the sauce is homogeneous and creamy.
Finally, you will have to add the grated cheeses and stir everything with a wooden spoon.
To finish the pesto sauce you should try salt and pepper in case you had to add a little more.
